Cascade/Porter 1 31/2010

[Adirondack Ladies]

Hiked Cascade and Porter with Nancy (HOL) - great hike but darn cold and windy on summit of Cascade. Used crampons for entire hike - met lots of hikers while descending. Trail well packed with a couple of icy spots. Saw hikers with snowshoes, crampons and bareboots.

Nancy - I think you could be seen from space in your jacket :) Next time they are predicting white out conditions I'll have to borrow it :)

I don't think they lost them but left them there for on the way down, still trying to figure that one out.
