on Saturday went hiking again with 3 friends from work.
took trail up marble mt. icy under a dusting of snpw, but once over marble, a little more snow, and put on snowshoes for rest of trip. very well packed trail now over to Esther and back, and on to whiteface. the last section of the ridge are some icy spots. 40-45 mph winds in the open, a little less on the top, but a nice warm mostly sunny day. perfect weather for these 2 mts.
took 3 hrs to reach esther, 5 to get to whiteface. only 2 hrs. to get out.

only problem was being on a trail again, and the next trip with them is going to be Algonquin, Iroquois, and Wright in a couple of weeks. hopefully i can get another bushwack in next weekend!!

only problem was being on a trail again.....!Weird seeing a report like this coming from you.

Do you get confused when you don't have to think about where you're going??? About a branch whacking you in the face??? Do you fall asleep while walking???
