Rusk

I told my wife I was going out for a pack of cigarettes and ended up on Rusk , finishing what I started out to do 2 weeks ago, when I cut short the SW,(Leaviit) Hunter, Rusk loop because of rain, slush ,dropping temps, and darkness. It was a quick, direct trip up and down as I was trying to beat the rain. I was considering going on to Evergreen after eating lunch at the canister,when it briefly sleeted and freezing rained, cancelling that idea. I just made it to the PA when the snow hit, turning to rain halfway down the valley. Looks like the end of what ever winter conditions we had left. Still a nice hike with the dog for company.

Hey Jim nice job finishing what you started. I slept a little later than usual and just relaxed this morning, saving Fir for next week. Checked the Slide P.A. for you and figured you must have decided on something else. Sounds like you had a good time with the pooch!
